About PHCC

Formed in 1971, the first president was elected in 1972. Initially focused on exploring Township, it now focuses on the community’s civic affairs.

Standing & Ad Hocs

The Pine Hills Community Council has several committees. Standing committees monitor progress, make plans, and report to the main body on subjects like finance, marketing, communications, and budgets. Special Ad Hoc Committees handle annual events like fundraisers, galas, and volunteer gatherings. Each special ad hoc committee may have a board committee.

About Pine Hills

Pine Hills, an Orange County neighborhood developed in the 1950s for Martin Marietta Corporation workers, saw growth in the 1980s and 1990s with new housing developments. Its strategic location near Interstate 4 and Highway 408 attracted small industrial businesses, including Frito-Lay and Coca-Cola facilities on east Silver Star Road in Orlando.

Pine Hills Community Foundation

Founded in 2024, PHCF aims to expand charitable initiatives and advance the PHCC’s mission. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we focus on education, health, economic development, and housing, investing in people and resources that drive positive change.
